WIDE RANGE OF PRODUCTS

PRODUCT INSTRUCTION

The invention of PTFE and other new materials led to the rapid development of ball valves. Jamesbury was one of the first companies to use PTFE for valve seating. Jamesbury's valve seat designs are protected by U.S. Patents. Neles-Jamesbury Valve is licensed to utilize this seating technology and other Jamesbury technology and promotes its ball and butterfly valves to a higher level.

The ball and butterfly valves manufactured by Neles-Jamesbury have large flow capacity, low flow resistance and good tightness, they are used in various industries, such as petroleum, natural gas, chemical and petrochemical, electric power generation, pulp and paper, etc. Its products are also provided to the nuclear and aerospace industries.

Product Features:

l        Flexible lip seats eliminates cold flow, compensates for wear, pressure and temperature variations.

l        Offset shaft and eccentric disc design of the butterfly valves eliminates the friction points at top and bottom which prolongs the cycle life of the seat.

l        The valve body, pressure bearing parts and bolts are designed and calculated according to ASME/ANSI standards for safety and reliability.

l        Specially formulated seat materials have wide pressure and temperature resistance range.

l        High accuracy control due to using CAD, CNC machining and 3D measuring equipment insures consistent high performance and long service life.

l        Special seat design automatically relieves cavity pressure and prevents excessive pressure build up in the valve.

l        Self-lubrication bushing material and strictly controlled fitting dimensions and tolerances give the valves the lowest possible operation torques.

l        Materials of the valves meet ASTM specifications and NACE MR01-75, GB12228, GB12229 and GB12230.

l        The valves are fire tested according to API 607. Valves can be supplied with Static Grounding.

SEAT FOR 7000/5000,9000/6000 SERIES BALL VALVES JAMESBURY PATENTED LIP-SEAL SEAT DESIGN

G series valves are trunnion mounted, polymeric-seated ball valves, which provide bubble-tightness over an extensive range of temperatures and pressures. They are available in both full bore and reduced bore designs in a choice of materials, sizes and pressure classes which makes them an ideal selection for a variety of application. The standard valves use forged steel as their body materials which eliminate unavoidable defects of castings and assure uniform tough structure of the valve at full rated working pressure. Wide choice of quality trim materials makes the valve durable operation even under much severe conditions.

Image The seal forms of G series pipeline ball valves are front seal. The inserted construction seats are comprised of metal and polymer suited to different pressure classes. The seats are floating. Due to the absolute spring loaded floating up-and-down seats, it can discharge the excessive cavity pressure automatically to the downstream, thereby avoiding kinds of dangers caused by the excessive pressure.
Image K type of Series G adopt the advanced front and back seal. It is the main characteristic that the back seats can provide tight sealing when the front seats become invalid. The seats are combined construction comprised of metal and viton O-rings. The seats are floating and spring loaded which keep the sealing side of the seats impinged on the ball all along.
Image 6"and larger valves have a secondary seat emergent sealing system. Once the soft seal is damaged, or the valve leaks in the emergence case, these systems can provide a temporary seal by injecting sealant through them.

Unique lip-seal seat design:

---exerts continuous pressure against ball for reliable sealing
---fluid pressure on the ball increases the effectiveness of the seal on the downstream side
---automatically compensates for wear and for changes in temperature and pressure
---provides extremely high cycle life
